Allan was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in October 1992 and in United Kingdom in 1995. His major area of practice is conveyancing, wills and probate. He also sometimes handled certain simple criminal cases and divorce cases. In the past years of practice, Allan had been working in one of the leading firms in Hong Kong and one of the London City firms in Hong Kong. He has vast experience in drafting various conveyancing documents ranging from the usual documents such as Agreements for sale and purchase, Assignments, Mortgages, Deed Polls, Nominations to the more complex documents such as Deeds of Exchange, Deeds of Mutual Grants and Grants of Right of Way and Deeds of Mutual Covenant for New Territories Small Village Houses. For the rest of his working time, Allan has also involved in the practice of Probate and Wills and has assisted clients in obtaining various grants such as Grants of Probate, usual Grants of Letters of Administration and Letters of Administration de bonis non.
Currently, Allan is also a part-time Consultant Solicitor with Slater Heelis, Manchester, United Kingdom. He is a dual practice solicitor practising both English law and Hong Kong law in Britain.
